The Gustav Holst and Ralph Vaughan Williams Societies are pleased to announce a festival of music by Holst/ Vaughan Williams on Saturday 12th November 2022 at Gloucester Cathedral.

This chamber music concert, curated by Illuminate Women’s Music’s artistic director and composer Dr Angela Elizabeth Slater, presents a wonderful array of string quartet music and string quartet with soprano written by women composers from the past and present. In this concert the Brompton Quartet and soprano Sarah Parkin will take the listener on a journey through explorations of the visual arts, mythology and the natural world.
This concert has been supported by RVW Trust, Ambache Charitable Trust and PRS Women Make Music.  Tickets £10 (£8)
